THE PERSON YOU’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE
Are you ready to level up, to become who you’ve always wanted to be?
Maybe you’ve tried in the past to step into that identity, that best version of yourself. For whatever reason, the changes you tried to make just didn’t stick.
Don’t beat yourself up. It’s not a lack of self-discipline or because you didn’t try hard enough.
You can become that person you’ve dreamed of, and in less time than you think.
“Recognizing that you are not where you want to be is a starting point to begin changing your life.”
- Deborah Day
ADDRESS THE REAL ISSUE
No matter how determined you are to change, subconscious emotional or psychological blocks can trip you up, causing you to lose your focus and momentum.
Uncover what’s holding you back and release those blocks with proven methods.
SELF-COMPASSION
Too often we blame ourselves for a lack of discipline or engage in all sorts of negative self-talk when at first we don’t succeed.
There’s a better way.
By practicing self-compassion, you’ll foster resilience and regain motivation. You’ll come to recognize setbacks as opportunities to reflect and refine your processes. They can set you up for success.
“When you choose your friends today, you are choosing your habits tomorrow.”
— James Clear, author of Atomic Habits
BIRDS OF A FEATHER
One of the easiest ways to develop a habit is to hang out with people who already have that habit (James Clear, Atomic Habits).
You’ll meet people in this group who are also eager for personal growth. By meeting regularly with them, your chances of becoming the person you really want to be are dramatically improved.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Accountability doesn’t have to be scary when you have support and encouragement.
Join Julie and other group members for two weekly meetings that fit best with your schedule. Report on your progress and receive applause or support when you’re feeling discouraged.
You’ll also gain tools that will allow you to identify issues that need to be addressed and tools to build sustainable, positive habits.
ENCOURAGEMENT
There’s nothing quite like basking in a round of applause for a job well done. It means even more coming from an audience who knows what it took to achieve that win.
Celebrate your personal growth with friends who are invested in you and hold you accountable, but also cheer you along the way and remind you, when you have an off day, to be compassionate towards yourself.
TIMING & FORMAT:
We’ll start on Friday, November 15 with the full moon. This is an excellent time to let go of whatever is holding you back. We’ll end on Monday, December 30, on the new moon. That’s an excellent time to embrace something new — the new you.
Choose two sessions a week, on Thursdays at 7:00, Saturdays at 10:00, or Mondays at 12:00.
Each session we’ll use guided meditation, breath work, EFT (tapping), and/or qigong to keep us motivated and centered when disruptions occur or progress isn’t as steady as we’d like.
BETWEEN MEETINGS
Post your wins and challenges in a Google Space that’s exclusively for the use of group members. You’ll also find handouts and recordings of all meetings there. It’s a great place to learn more about the other group members, too!

SLIDING SCALE
Self-care accountability group is for everybody regardless of their financial situation.
That’s why we offer three options rather than one fixed price. This structure makes it possible for more people to access the program, supported by the community and those who have access to greater financial resources. Choose the option that feels appropriate to you and your circumstances.
$50/week or $300 SPONSOR ACCESS: For those with more than enough financial resources and a desire to support others.
$33.33/week or $200 -- FAIR ACCESS: For those with sufficient financial resources to pay fair value for the experience.
$120 -- SUPPORTED ACCESS: For those with currently limited financial resources who will benefit from community support.
If supported access is still a challenge, please contact Julie at breathworksfl@gmail.com.

BOOKS & METHODS
-
Dr. Bradley Nelson is a chiropractor who is heavily influenced by traditional Chinese medicine and the flow of Qi.
Nelson explains that unexpressed emotions become trapped in our physical and energy bodies. He uses muscle testing to find this trapped energy and magnets to release it.
-
Dr. Sue Morter has helped thousands of people reimagine their lives, regain their health, and find a renewed sense of purpose.
Dr. Morter employs breath work, yoga and meditation, but she also employs Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique to bridge the gaps or tears in your energy and physical body.
-
Nick Ortner employs EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to regulate his clients' emotional state.
EFT is an effective way to reduce stress and can help with certain conditions, including anxiety, anger, depression, and even post-traumatic stress disorder.
-
James Clear offers compelling evidence that changing your life is far more sustainable when you form habits rather than setting goals.
Clear teaches his readers to build new habits by starting slowly -- making the new habit obvious, easy, attractive and rewarding.
