SELF-CARE RETREAT

JUNE 5-8, 2023

WHO’S TAKING CARE OF YOU?

Too often we ignore our own needs in order to take take of others. But consistently sacrificing your self-care for others can create anger, resentment, or even physical ailments.

If you don’t listen to your body’s whispers, eventually it will begin to shout in order to get your attention.

GROW CURIOUS

Engage in heart-centered discussion and meditation that explores what it means to take care of yourself physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.

MOVE AND FEEL

Stretch and move with daily yoga and meditation classes. Explore the wisdom and knowing that arise when you go within and listen to your body’s prompting.

NURTURE YOUR BODY

Loving massage and energy work supplement your own movement and breath and give you much needed nourishment. Discover how best to love your body and feel compassion for the trauma it has endured. Nourish that beautiful body with healthy and delicious foods that are prepared especially for you and tailored to your dietary needs and tastes.

BE YOUR OWN HERO

Use journaling to rewrite your old story. You’ll come to see your past as a stepping stone toward self-realized empowerment where you create your best life.

EMBRACE YOUR POWER

MEET YOUR RETREAT HOSTS

Family Law Attorney and Mediator, Author, Sedona Transformational Soul Coach (in training)

Melissa is not your typical divorce attorney. Her greatest satisfaction is helping her clients walk through fear toward personal growth. She inspires people to see divorce as a catalyst for their own self-discovery. She shares her personal journey of transformation as a divorced parent in her book Courageous Wings Within: Growing Through Divorce to Live an Extraordinary Life.

“Any painful experience is an opportunity to transform our lives. As the years go by in an unhappy marriage, we often ignore the pain as we try to hold the family together for the sake of the children or financial necessity. So fearful of change, we blow out our inner light. Eventually, alone in our own darkness, sorrow becomes greater than fear. But is there a way to experience joy again? Are there powerful wings of courage within us to move beyond any challenge? The answer is YES!”

Melissa is also a Transformational Soul Coach, a coach who acknowledges and honors the individual’s authentic, timeless, wisest self. She helps clients connect with their highest wisdom and authentic selves... tuning into their innate guidance for what they’re meant to do with their precious life.
